Gantry 3D vision welding robot realizes high-precision automatic welding by integrating 3D vision system and gantry robot. The gantry is equipped with four welding robots and advanced vision camera. According to the preset path, the four welding robots can work together, which greatly improves the production efficiency. The working principle of Ss mainly includes the following steps:
1. Positioning and scanning of the workpiece: 3D vision system is installed on the gantry to scan the workpiece and obtain the 3D point cloud data of the workpiece.
2. Weld identification and path planning: extract weld features from point cloud data by intelligent algorithm, and calculate accurate welding points and robot welding posture. The system will automatically generate the welding trajectory according to the extracted weld information.
3. Welding execution: The gantry robot carries a welding torch for welding operation according to the planned welding trajectory.l This system can automatically identify the shape and position of the workpiece and adapt to the machining error and assembly error of the workpiece, thus improving the welding accuracy and efficiency.
